I have invented a new technology to produce energy/electricity, however, the motivation of my invention was not similar as what inVEST vision are. It started in 1953 as a boy having experienced electricity problems on an island in East Indonesia was the "genesis" of my invention, which I consider to be one of the best if not the only solution to solve electricity problems those thousand island country is having . Not every island has coal/oil/rivers or other natural sources to be use to generate electricity, while to built fossil fuel and coal fired power plants would not be Economically and Financially feasible. This invention of my is a simple technology that is based on the same concept or technology of any conventional hydropower plant, only it uses water from the sea ,can be built on every sea shore or beach in the World that is why I named this hydropower plant as "Sea Hydro Power Plant". I do appreciate if inVEST could facilitate me with a sponsor to fund a prototype of my new invention. And to me, it makes perfect sense that a massive approach to renewable energy is the only way to bring their cost below the cost of fossil fuels. I sincerely hope this effort generates discussion, action and builds a community around the subject of renewable energy.
