Randy Shefman is a lawyer practicing in the Denver office of Hogan & Hartson, an international law firm with a global clean energy practice. His work focuses on domestic and international renewable energy projects and clean technology transactions. Randy has advised technology companies, project owners, developers, construction and engineering firms, governmental entities, and strategic investors in connection with solar , wind, waste-to-energy, biomass, ethanol, butanol, methanol, biodiesel, and “green chemical” facilities, including projects in the United States, Western Europe, Russia, China, Southeast Asia, India and Latin America – varying in size from less than $1 million to more than $20 billion.
Randy was recently named one of “Colorado’s Top Up and Coming Lawyers” by Colorado Law Week, and Green C3 Press recently recognized him as one of the “Thought Leaders of the New Energy Economy.” He is a regular presenter at energy industry events and authors a quarterly column on legal issues for several leading industry publications.
