Monika Lutz

    Monika is a rising Senior at Fairview High School in Boulder, Colorado where she will spend her final year of high school as the 2010 Head Girl, Public Relations Specialists for the National Honor Society, and Chief Officer of Operations for the Future Business Leaders of America Club. In previous years, Monika has been the President and Founder of the Future Business Leaders of America at Fairview. In just one year, she grew the club from non-existent to its current status of fifty registered members. In 2009 Monika received the First Place award for Marketing in the Denver region and Second Place in Marketing at the Colorado State level. She is also an International Baccalaureate Diploma candidate and donates over 150 hours to community service projects annually.


    But Business is not this teen’s only passion. As an underclassmen, Monika won first place at the State Mock Trial Competition and was awarded the “Outstanding Witness Award” in 2007. She played starting Varsity on her State-ranked Girl’s Lacrosse team and was Captain of Fairview’s 1st-in-state Volleyball team. She also enjoys playing badminton, ping-pong, snowboarding, and tennis. This last fall, Monika was the Team Manager for the Fairview Boy’s Tennis team who later went on to place eight players at State.


    Monika speaks fluent French and beginning German and Spanish. She was a foreign exchange student in France, Italy, and Greece last summer and has explored over fourteen countries. Miss Lutz will spend the summer of 2009 working at the prestigious 7th Art marketing firm in New York City.
