Dr. Rajan Kapur: Director USA & India Initiatives. Ambassador Solar Energy.

Dr. Rajan Kapur started his career in custom chip design at AT&T Bell Labs. He continued in chip and system development in display technologies and consumer electronics at start-ups and mid-sized companies.
Three years ago, he saw the light, and founded a solar Photo-Voltaic “Balance of System” company, to transfer design and manufacturing methodologies that had contributed to innovation and growth, first in the PC industry and then in telecom and consumer electronics.
Dr. Kapur follows solar energy and related industries, with interests at the intersection of technology and policy.
Dr. Kapur is an alumnus of IIT Kanpur, Rice University, and the University of Texas at Austin.
