Dr. Jerry Anderson:  Education Ambassador.  Principal, Monarch High School.

Dr. Jerry Anderson is principal of Monarch High School, one of the best high schools in the nation, located in Louisville, Colorado in Boulder Valley School District.  She has a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership from Loyola University of Chicago, an M.A. in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs, and B.S. in Social Sciences and Secondary Education from Vanderbilt University. Having taught from grade 4 to the post graduate level and after several years of service as a school administrator in middle and high school, Dr. Anderson brings her educational expertise to assist in making sustainable energy an essential component of the K-12 curriculum.

  1. Hello, Dr. Anderson. I was so excited to find you. Hope things are going well. This is my transition year in district 11. My position at Mitchell was cut last April, so I proposed this distance learning coach position, the board approved it, they found the funding, posted the job, and I applied and got it. So, I created my own position for my last year.

    I am trying to get our distance learning labs, that were installed in each high school last year, up and running. Are you doing anything with distance learning?
